This
Canadian web site is a grass roots effort dedicated to those who
would
like to gain a greater understanding of the responsible use of firearms
for fun
and recreation. The intent is to steer clear of the politics (in so far
as possible),
while delivering factual and easy
to understand information for the new shooter,
or new shooter wannabee. Our focus will be
primarily upon sporting competition
rather than hunting, and mostly upon the action pistol, rifle
and shotgun disciplines.
We are
looking for contributions in the form of articles,
upcoming events, photographs
etc.
from the various individuals and organizations dedicated to firearms
competitions
specifically in the civilian and non-law enforcement sector. Our
request is not for money, but rather information about the various
shooting disciplines (no
copyrited materials please, and please ensure that you have the
authority to distribute anything
you send).
Our
intent is to portray the shooting sports in all its various facets as
they truly are...
An enjoyable pastime which incourages safety, discipline and respect
for the law, and

The Pogo Project
A Collaboration Site for
Responsible Firearms Owners
This is a link to the collaboration
site for the "Pogo" project. So named for the
Walt Kelly comic strip character who once said:
We have seen the Enemy, and he is US!
We hope you'll join our
collaboration and assist in uniting the various
factions
within the Responsible Firearms Community (RFC)
in suggesting a legislative
replacement for the Canadian Firearms Act (C68)which is different from
the
current act by being: Fair, Effective and Efficient.
